Curious and Unusual
June 18, 2025 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm

We’re Spotlighting curious and unusual Summer produce with a strange but delicious menu! Come try a buttery romanesco steak and puree.
for lunch.
ROMANESCO goes by various names, including Romanesco broccoli, fractal broccoli, or Roman cauliflower, though it’s considered to be a hybrid between cauliflower and broccoli. Romanesco naturally forms a logarithmic spiral. If you’re curious just how many spirals are on one head of Romanesco, it is a Fibonacci number. So now you have a great conversation starter at dinner or even at a party. It can be prepared just like cauliflower or broccoli, and can be enjoyed raw or cooked. When cooked, it has an earthy and nutty
flavor that is all its own.
